Autum

Today was a pretty poopy day... cold and rainy! Fridays are days that I don't have to be at school and so after dropping Zada off I went on my normal walk. While I was walking it was meerly a mist so I didn't need an umbrella. I have to say that I am noticing more colors (colour is how it's spelled up here) in the tree's that I have ever noticed before. I cannot remember seeing these vibrant colors in St. Louis. Of course my next question was, did I ever take the time to notice such colors. Maybe they existed but I just never saw them. I'm definitly seeing them here... there is one tree on the way to Zada's school that is the orangest tree I have ever seen before and on my walk I saw a bright RED tree... I will have to take some pictures of these trees for everyone to see, however I don't think they would do the colors justice.

You know the old phrase, "take time to smell the roses" well I think everyone should take the time and watch the tree's change colors! What a cool concept! Ottawa really get's painted in colors come fall and I"m loving it! I'm usually the one telling Zada to collect the pretty leaves!!

Anyway that's my little observation for the day... once I get some great pictures of "Fall in Ottawa" I'll stick them up here so you have to check back!!!!!
