why I love Ottawa #99078973428374

I'm sure most of you are sick of hearing about how wonderful Ottawa is, here goes yet again! Sunday was an absolutly wonderful day. I took Zada for a little ice skating trip to the rink by our house. Then James and I headed off to go ski. It's really a great sport. If you love hiking it's the perfect winter sport! If you like running but can't in the winter again perfect sport. We went to a golf course that eventually led us to some trails. It was by far the most challenging ski trails I have been on. I loved every min of it... ok there were a few parts I was panting and had to stop but I was still loving it!

Tuesday night we decided to head to the canal. It was our first really free evening/not cold night. James snuck out of work early and to the canal we went! It was perfect. Zada has gotten so good that she was able to keep up with James and I or sometimes James would skate ahead and I would hang with Zada and then we would switch.  After about 2-4km of skating we stopped and rewarded ourselves with a Beavertail. IT WAS TASTEY!

Afterschool we also went skating again - I wish I had a video camera so you could all see my little figure skater. (She said she wants to grow up and be a FIGURE 8)

***immigration update****
They are now into June and have moved it from 9 months processing time to 8 months! This is very exciting for me as it means we are one month closer!
