Well my friends we finally have snow. This time it's actually
enough to "write home about". It apparently started snowing
around 6am this morning and by 10am we had 3 inches of snow!
Zada and I shoveled the drive at 10 and by 10:45 when we finished
the sidewalk and driveway was covered again!
Our walk to school was interesting! See normally in St. Louis school would
have been closed so my experiences of walking in deep snow is limited.
Lets just say it took us a little longer and had to make a couple stops.
Zada's short little legs were working a little overtime today trying to get
through the snow. When I came home I pulled out my handy ruler to measure
again. So far we have 5 inches and it's still coming down at a pretty good rate.
Once the downpour of snow stops I'll take some pictures to throw up on here
so you can all see. I must say it is simply beautiful out!
The weather online states that it is -8C (17F) but feels like -17C (3F). FUN FUN!

Well you get the cool white stuff and we here in Dittmer were stuck with ice, lucky. Of course we didn't get as much as mom did.

We have only had 1 measurable snowfall so far this winter in Detroit, and that came in OCTOBER!!
We got the ice storm this weekend, and only a small light dusting hardly worth evening mentioning last night. I'm getting depressed with this winter's snow-depravity. =(
I have to say I'm overjoyed by the snow! I was prepared to do some skiing this winter and well that's been almost impossible! This weekend HOPEFULLY I'll get to maybe try.. MAYBE.
