We got about another inch last night so I got to shovel again today. 
It's funny how I don't mind shoveling snow. I chalk it up as a work out.
I haven't been walking as much lately for a couple reasons... COLD AND
SNOW! My toes freeze in about 20 mins of being outside. Not to mention
that until late afternoon yesterday the side walks hadn't been plowed and 
tramping through 5 inches of snow is a work out in itself.

 Yesterday I brought Zada's sled to her school so she could have a ride home.
I thought I would be the only mom there doing this. ALAS I was not! DUH
This is Canada. You know what else is DUH. They have sleds the kids can
play with during their recess time! AND I found out today that the plow guy
for their parking lot piles the snow in the large playground for the kids
to play on. I believe on Friday the Kindergartners will get to slide down these
big hills. 

I was trying to remember what we did in grade school when it snowed..
then it hit me.. WE HAD A SNOW DAY! HAHAHAHA

Today was cold... in the sun it wasn't so bad but the shade OMG FROZEN
SNOT. If you have never experienced this you should. Your nostrils stick
together for a split second. (It's the little things).

GOOD NEWS! For anyone planning to travel to visit (me) Winterlude this year
IT WILL GO ON! The Canal is still considered UNSAFE. It has to have 15CM of ice
currently it is at 10CM. They are currently MAKING snow for their snow sculptures.
